Centrally located, the park offers
plenty of shade and large areas of lush green grass for those family
picnics. Pleasant walks around the gardens and a touch of history
with the poppet head at the top of the hill and the beautiful Cascades
and fountain.

Rosalind
Park exists because of a land grant in 1857 and is over
60 acres in size, so there's plenty of room to spread the picnic
blanket out.
At night time the park comes alive with possums,
they are actually very tame and will walk right up to you looking
for something to nibble on. |
| Climb
to the top of the poppet head for a view of Bendigo like
no other, the poppet head is lit up at night time so you are able
to view Bendigo by night. |

Whether
your looking for some where to ride a bike, throw on your
roller blades and hit the pavements or simply stroll around the
gardens admiring the peaceful surrounds, Rosalind Park caters for
all. |
The
Cascades were designed by WC Vahland after the instruction
of George Lansell, who was inspired on his trip to Italy.
The Cascades are a delightful feature of the park
and is a site to be seen by night. To see the Cascades at night
